Not again...

Back in June, Kyle and I decided that it was time to think about maybe adding another baby to our already chaotic family ---literally to"get it over with". So in July we tried and just like that......we were pregnant (all I have to do is say the word pregnant and bam....it happens). Anyway, when we got to our 1st OB appointment, we were really excited to hear the heart beat (you know when you hear the heart beat for the first time, it finally feels real). I told the Dr of my past history of miscarriage so he decided to do an ultrasound to make sure that they baby was okay. Well, there was no heartbeat. My heart sank, but at the same time, I knew it. This was my 3rd miscarriage....my first at 15 weeks, my second at 8 and now this one at 8 as well. I have always had a miscarriage before a full term baby. Now Kyle and I are looking forward to trying some more :) and maybe having success next time.

The BIG Hunt

Kyle had been looking forward to this past weekend ever since he found out that he drew a limited entry Bookcliffs deer tag. He has put in for the bookcliffs for the past 6 years, so when we finally got the tag, he was SO excited.
The hunt started on Wednesday so we took off Tuesday afternoon and hauled our trailer the 5 hours to the middle of nowhere. When we got there we immediately started scouting out the big bucks. After a few days of not seeing something big enough to shoot, he finally found one that he liked. It was a good thing that he got his deer when he did because we had to get home to get cows off the mountain and to cut hay. It was fun being Kyle's hunting partner. I actually had fun dragging the deer up the mountain. Kyle was really excited and couldn't wait to get home to show it off. It wasn't the monster he was hoping to shoot, but I think its awesome. Way to go babe!
Kade was pretty proud of his old man
Tyce just had fun no matter what we were doing. He loved making this very stunning hat out of foam stickers.

Dentist=Surgery

What a way to spend a Saturday! Early this morning I took Kade over to Price to the surgical center to get some work done on his teeth. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be for me until the anesthesiologist took his had and walked him away. The surgery took about 1 hour and then I finally got to go back and see Kade. He was acting SO different. Nothing I did would calm him down. He ended up yanking his IV out and splattered blood everywhere. It was definitely hard to see him like that. We are now home and he is acting just fine. I hope that we don't have to do that again anytime soon.

Kade's first day of preschool

Today was Kade's first day of preschool. He was so excited to go that he made sure to tell me that I was not allowed to go with him. His teacher this year is Miss Sandra and her helper Miss Karla. Kade told me that he loved his teachers so it must have went well. On Tuesday he was able to go and check out the preschool with my mom. When they got there my mom showed him where the bathroom was and he said "cool, there is my bathroom and my shower". He also had to tell me that Miss Sandra had him some toys and a place for him to hang his backpack.
It was hard to leave him today because he doesn't seem big enough to be going to school. Also it is hard because I don't get to pick him up. Thankgoodness my mom can take a break at work and go get him. Its hard not being the one who picks him up to see how is day went. By the time I see him its old news.

This is Kade outside my house for his "First Day of School Pose"

Here is a picture of Kade and Kelsey. They are the best of friends and Kade just loves her to death. Aren't they cute. I swear sometimes I think that they could be twins!
Tyce felt left out and needed to say cheese. He is so funny (and he is getting so BIG)

Our Labor Day Weekend

We had a very busy, but fun, long weekend. It all started with a shopping trip where I spent every penny of my weight loss winnings. We went up Friday night......shopped..... and then stayed the night in a hotel. After a few stops the next morning, we came home and went up Cottonwood Canyon and BBQ'ed shish kabobs with my mom, Jasa, Jared, Tylee, and Kelsey.

The next day we went over to my Grandma Hansen's and had turkey dinner with a few of my cousins. Eating at Grandma Hansen's is the best....good food and great company.

Finally on Monday we loaded up the 4-wheelers and went up Ferron Mountain for a ride along Hunters Highway. Along our way, we looked for a geo-cash but never found it. The ride was nice and it was good to get out.

The weekend was great....I wish that it could have lasted a little bit longer.....maybe I could have got more done on my bathroom remodel. Oh well!!

Cha-ching....I am the winner!

At my school, we have a little contest...... We take our weight and our body fat percentage and whoever loses the most body fat wins $500.00. Well, I am happy to announce that I am the winner! Wahoo! I have lost a total of 38lbs since January (22 just this summer) and I have never felt better. Anyway, I am so excited.....I have already made my list of things to buy with my winnings.

In all reality, losing the weight is worth so much more than the money. I feel SO much better, have a ton more confidence, and I have so much more energy! I am super proud of myself!
