Cowboyin' on the Desert

My favorite event of the year is bringing cows on the desert.  Each year it gets better and better because I get the cutest helpers to come along with with me.  Kade did AWESOME this year.  He road the entire way-from the farm to Fullers Bottom. What a handsome cowboy!

Because we are in a drought, the BLM cut our desert permits in half!!!!  Lets hope we get some good snow this year so that our #s go up!

These cute cowboys had everything under control.  I was able to just sit back and take pictures while they took care of the cowboying!

Chase, Kade, and Kyle

We had to stop and take a break at Phino's Cabin.  Hotdogs of course for lunch!

Tyce rode for a little while, but quickly wanted to get off and ride in the truck with Grandma.  Here he is all smiles!

Poor little Jess was a sick little guy.  He was a trooper though!

This picture has nothing to do with bringing cows on the desert, but I was pretty excited about this event.  This here my friends is the big buck I killed on the rifle hunt.  It was my first kill and can I just say "BUCK FEVER"!  I have never understood it until now.  I was shaking SO hard that my butt cheeks were jiggling!  My first shot took his leg clear off.  My second was right through the lungs.

Best Fishing of the Year!

We took the boys fishing at Milsite and we were thrilled at the nice fish we were reeling in.  They were so much fun to catch.  Here is Tyce with his fish.

Kade has been good to bait, cast, and reel his own pole in.  He was fishing away when he got a huge bite.  Well lets just say, it was a HUGE fish!  He was so excited!

Check out that beauty!  I have NEVER seen a fish that big come out of Milsite.  It was at least 3lbs.  Pretty cool!

You also couldn't beat the view from where we were fishing.  The sunset was gorgeous!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was GREAT this year!  I had the cutest little trick or treaters around!

 Here is BATMAN of course!

And the cutest PIRATE ever!

Last but not least.......A INJURED BASEBALL PLAYER!

We attended several Halloween parties this year, each were super fun with great games for the kids. Pumpkin bowling at Grandma Laurie's party was a one of the boys favorite games.

Cheese!

Kade was the coolest baseball player at the Castle Dale Elementary Halloween Parade!

Also for Grandma Lauries party, we carve our pumpkins!  It has turned out to be a great tradition at the Larsen's.

Our final projects:

We also had a party at our house this year.  It was so fun having everyone over to play games and eat yummy food.

These two good lookers where loving the party!  (me and my mom)

Jess loved Halloween.  He loved dressing up and he loved carrying this pumpkin around for days.  I had to take this picture of his cute little cheeks!

Silly Jesser!
