Beautiful....

Yesterday Me, Kyle, and Kade went down on the desert to check on the cows. We had to ride the 4-wheelers because it was too muddy to take the horses. As I was riding, I was thinking about how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. I love Emery County. We are 20 minutes away from the most beautiful desert in the world, and 20 minutes away from the most beautiful mountains. We don't have stop lights and we don't have a wal-mart. We are so lucky!!

Kade had such fun time on the 4-wheeler (he always does). He is such a trooper. He never complained once about being cold or tired. He is ALL boy.

I've Been Tagged

Seven Random facts about myself!

#1 Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog.
#2Tag seven random people at the end of your post, and leave a comment on their blogs.
#3 Leave a comment on their blogs so that they know they have been tagged.

#1. The first random fact about me is that I rode a horse before I was able to walk. I have been riding horses since I was a baby. I remember when I was 3 years old, my dad put me in riding club on my horse named Dolly. Every morning in the summer, I would get up with my sisters and go to riding club.
My dad made all of us girls get up at 6:00am every Saturday to go and move cows on our horses whether it was on the Mountain or the Desert, whether is was 110 degrees or -10 degrees. We worked our guts out, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

#2. The next random fact about me is that I have been on every road and trail on the Manti LaSal National Forest. I spent 7 summers working for the Forest Service doing everything from trail maintenance, to trail patrol. I usually worked by myself on my 4-wheeler which was awesome. One summer, I signed and maintained over 400 miles of trail on the new Arapeen Trail System. My boss was so impressed that he gave me a huge bonus at the end of the season for a job well done.

#3. Another random fact about me is that at Utah State I was the Health Education Association president and I was also the President of the Professional in Health Honors Society.

#4. A funny random fact about me is that Kyle and I made out all night long in our friends cabin while all of our friends were upstairs sleeping, before we ever went out on a date.

#5. I love riding 4-wheelers, especially in the mud. Most of my family members will not ride on the same 4-wheeler as me because I make sure to go as fast as possible....and I don't miss a single mud puddle.

#6. While as Utah State I participated in a study about women and weight lifting and I ended up lifting 900 lbs with my legs on the sleight machine. I thought that I was wonder woman.

#7. In high school, my friends and I would go around town looking for dead skunks (or any other road kill), we would tie a piece of twine string around its neck and then fling it in peoples yards that we didn't like. (Lynae, your brother-in-law was an accomplice) One time we tied the dead skunk to the muffler of this girls car. It was awesome!!

And now I tag (okay this is not 7, but its all I know): Mindy, Natasha, Lauren, Christel. Have Fun!!!

New Pictures of Tyce

Our weekend away from the snow..

We found a spot in Utah that doesn't have snow: St.George, and man was it nice. We had so much fun shopping and playing at the fun center. It was nice to get away for awhile. Kade loved the go carts and the miniature golf, Tyce loved being outside. We all had a blast swimming at the motel and hanging out with the fam (we went with my sister Jasa and her family, my sister Jamie and her family, and my cute mom.

Kyle..I still love you

Today was quite the day! I had to take Tyce to Price to get his immunizations and I had to get some groceries at wal-mart (yes, I have to drive 35 minutes to the doctor and to the nearest wal-mart). Anyway, Kyle decided that he would take Kade for a ride on the desert to check on the cows because they are starting to calve. Well, when I got home from Price they weren't there....that is when I thought to myself "I bet that they are stuck". About 5 mintues after that thought, the phone rang. It was my brother-in-law. He told me that Kyle was stuck in the river and that he broke the front tie rods on his truck (this is a $35,000.00 Duramax that we can barely aford) Well, I decided to ride down with my brother-in-law to check out the damage and to save Kade. When I got there,Kade was sitting in the truck, in the river, with no pants and no diaper on. He was laughing while yelling "truck stuck water". I couldn't help but smile. Needless to say, we had to get the county road grater (who happened to be out on the desert today) to pull Kyle out. While he was pulling Kyle out, he bent the muffler into the back tire. I don't know how we are going to pay for this one, but it isn't the first time that Kyle has been stuck....and it is sad to say, but I don't think that it is the last.

Paybacks

It took me awhile to dig these pictures up, but it was worth the time. And trust me, I have more!!
Remember the Price is Right? That was so much fun. Remember when Ben the lady killer Miller won all of that money (because of us) and he wouldn't even buy us lunch. We had so much fun! I can even remember how we made the front page of the Snow College news paper.

Also, remember when Natasha's mom came down to visit and we skipped out on Church to get our ears pierced and then that night we went to a fireside and President Hinckley encouraged all of us to only have one pair of earings....feeling guilty we all let our new holes grow in.
Oh, the good ole' days!!

Tyce

Tyce is so cute. I am so glad that he has come to our family. He has the cutest little smile and I love to hear him coo. It is going to be hard to leave him when I have to go back to school.

Kade is so funny. He can say anything. One day I called his dad a loser, so next thing you know, Kade is calling everyone a Loser.....OOPS! This age is so funny.
I just had to post this picture. It was from Halloween this past year. Kade was the cutest rodeo clown that I have ever seen.

Where we call home

Here is a picture of our new house. We love it so much!

Our sweet little Tyce was blessed yesterday by his dad. It was such a great day. I was even brave enough to have 40 people come over to my new house for dinner....and we all fit perfectly. I couldn't have asked for things to go any smoother!
