Happy Birthday Grandpa Hansen!

My Grandpa Hansen was the greatest grandpa EVER.  This year we had to celebrate his birthday without him, so to honor him and to let him know how much we miss him, we sent him some balloons!  Everyone was there.  Each one of his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids....just like he would have wanted.

I miss my grandpa so much.  Elmo is just not the same without him there.  I will always remember his big smile and his sweet laugh.  He loved us SO much.  I was so lucky to have him in my life.  Love ya Grandpa and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A "REEL" Good Time at Willow Lake

Fishing.....we do a LOT of fishing! This particular trip was up at Willow Lake, and once again the weather was perfect which made for a really nice day.

The best part about our fishing trip was seeing Spider Man.  Yes, he was there with us fishing!  Can you believe it!

Look at this beauty.....its a nice Tiger Trout caught by ME of course!

 This one too!

Kade and Tyce got bored of fishing, so they took a little dip to cool off!

 Reeling in a HUGE fish!

Isn't that the cutest little boy on the planet?  I just love my little Jesser!

Huntington Lake

Huntington Lake is a must for summer time fun.  Not only is it a blast to swim in, but you can't beat the crawdad fishing.
Jumping off the docks is the best!  But you have to swim out there first!

To dry off, the kids headed to the boat docks to try their luck at crawdad fishing.  Well, lets just say it was a success.  Every time they pulled up their line, there were 4 or 5 crawdads.  The kids ended up catching about 4 buckets full of crawdads.

Throwing them back in the water was a highlight
 TROUBLE!!!

Finally, the best part was when we dumped the bucket of crawdads on the docks and watched them scatter back to the water.
Just another summer day with the Larsen's!

Lets Celebrate!!!

The 4th of July was great this year!  We started our celebration at the parade in Huntington where the kids caught LOADS of candy.

And had LOADS of fun on the bouncy toys at the park after the parade.

 Riding the train!

After the parade, we LOADED up the car and headed to fish lake.  The kids had so much fun!  They caught a ton of fish and they had a ball playing in the water.  I was so worried that there would be a ton of people there, but it was just right.

The weekend before the 4th, we celebrated by going camping.  We found the BEST little camping site.  It was perfect for baseball games, riding 4-wheelers, and it had a pretty cool swing.  The weather was perfect and we had the best time.
Tyce loved shooting the BB gun.  He was a great shot! Pretty hard when your target is a foot away :)

We spent one afternoon up at Potter's Pond.  Kade didn't want to fish, he wanted to dive in!  He loved wading through the mud!

Seeing our Mountains burn a few weeks ago was so hard on all of us,.  We were so sad to see it in flames.  At the same time, we were so thankful that the fire didn't jump on East where we run our cows.  Here are a few shots of the fire from East.  We rode up there each night while we were camping to check the fire.

T-Ball

Tyce wasn't the biggest fan of T-ball, but he stuck it out and did a great job.  He would hit the ball out of the park every time, and he was the fastest little runner.  I am really proud of my little Brave!

I just had to take this picture of Tyce waiting for his turn to bat.

 Quite the pair
