Christmas 2010

I can't believe that Christmas is already over.....it seems like every year it goes by quicker and quicker. Christmas was SO much fun this year. My boys loved every minute of it and were so cute to watch Christmas morning. We went to A LOT of parties and had a blast at each one. Here they go in order:

Kade had a little preschool party and Santa came. I brought Tyce with me to the party and here he is with Santa.
We also visited with Santa at our ward party. Here is Kade with Santa and Mrs. Claus
My mom's party was once again a BLAST. This year we had it at the Jr. High in Ferron where we played "Minute to Win it". This is Kyle winning the pedometer game.
Tyce thought he was pretty cool with this pair of panty hose on his head for a fun game
After a talent show, dinner, and "minute to win it" we went up to Jodi's classroom to open presents.
Grandma Jo gave all of the kids these wiggle riders and they were in HEAVEN! They had so much fun riding down the ramp at the Jr. High on racing around the halls. They were definitely a hit!
The next set of parties was on Christmas Eve. We started out at Grandma Reid's for caroling and donuts. We were quite the singers on our wagon. The party was short and sweet and just right.

After Grandma Reid's party, we headed to Cleveland to go ice blocking for Grandma Hansen's party. We had so much fun making trains and crashing down the hill. Here is Kyle and Jess hanging out at the top of the hill:
CRASH!!

After ice blocking we went to the Elmo town hall for dinner and games. As soon as we were done with the Hansen party, we loaded back in the car and headed to Ferron for a little Larsen party. The kids opened up their PJ's and us adults played another little white elephant game.
Kade and Tyce in their new PJ's
Christmas morning was the best. I had to wake up the boys so they were a little sleepy but way excited.

Jess just LOVED his toys.....he just played and played and played with them :)
Tyce got these Buzz lightyear wings and he thinks that he is pretty awesome when we wears them. He just wishes that they really made him fly.
Kade got a DS and forgot about the rest of his presents. He hasn't put it down since Christmas morning. We are going to have to put a time limit on this little device soon. Here is Kade with all of his presents.
Tyce's favorite present was his motorcycle bike. He rode it all over the house and down to Jasa's. While riding in the house he insisted that he wear Kade's new Iron Man helmet. It was hilarious to watch him ride around with it on. At one point he was riding his bike with his helmet and the buzz lightyear wings....it was awesome.
Christmas in now over and I am spending most of the day cleaning it up. This was definitely a Christmas to remember. Thanks everyone for making it so much fun!

Tyce has been anxiously awaiting this day for quite sometime.....an airplane birthday party at the wave pool in Price. He was so excited about his airplane birthday cake, his balloons, and all of his really fun presents that he could hardly stand it. Kade was also really excited. He didn't know why we had to wait so long to give Tyce his presents.

Here is Tyce with his cake and balloons.....oh and we couldn't leave out the party hats!
CHEESE!!!

Here is Kade playing in the water...he was loving it! He is pretty sure that we will need to have his next birthday party here as well.
Tyce with the girls: Kelsey, Tylee, and Abby
Gotcha!
Riding the waves
Opening his presents. He got some fun motorcycles, a cool superman shirt (which he had to wear as soon as we got home and is wearing it now to bed), a cool truck that hauls motorcycles, a dinosaur, a bucking bull, a basketball hoop, a really fun croquet game, money, and of course an airplane.
Jess slept through the entire party. I really wanted him to wake up so that he could get out and swim...but he just snoozed the entire time. When we got home and he woke up, I thought I better get a picture of him in some pilot glasses to prove that he was really at the party. Isn't he a hunk!
Tyce's birthday really isn't until the 18th, but we have to work around Kyle's work schedule and so we had the party today. I can't believe that he is turning 3. My little man Tyce is 3? Where has all the time gone?
Here are some things I love about Tyce:
1. Tyce has the cutest little smile.....missing tooth and all. When he smiles and scrunches up his nose, it makes you HAVE to smile back (even though he just wrote with permanent marker all over the walls).
2. Tyce is the most easy going kid ever. It doesn't matter where we go, or what we do, Tyce is cool with it. He keeps himself entertained all day long. He doesn't need anyone to figure things out for him....he has it under control.
3. He wants to be just like his dad. Kyle and Tyce are BEST BUDS and literally do EVERYTHING together. Tyce loves his dad and misses him so much when he is at work.
4. Tyce keeps me on my toes. He is always going in a hundred different directions (usually making a terrible mess) he makes me exhausted. I often find him jumping off things, riding things, swinging things, hitting things, dumping out things, and breaking things. Someday he will listen to me....I know it :)
5. He has NO FEAR. I know that I am going to be spending a lot of time in the ER with this boy. He is way to brave and never complains when he gets hurt.
I could go on and on about my wild little Tyce. I just love him to pieces and wish that he could stay little forever. Happy Birthday buster.....I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Castle Dale Christmas Party

We just love our town's little Christmas party. The kids had a ball riding the hay wagon and caroling behind Uncle Lee's team and wagon. They also got to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, eat free dinner and play on the bouncer toys. What a great night "out on the town"!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I just love a good tradition....and having Thanksgiving dinner with all of the Hansen's is one of my favorites. This year, because we are getting to be quite the large family, we had the dinner at the Elmo town hall. We had a yummy dinner and then while the boys went out to grandpa's farm to shoot skeet, us girls played games and the kids decorated Christmas mugs. It was a day full of laughs and good conversation. That night after the Hansen's, we went over to Ferron to Kyle's mom and dad's to make our Christmas Stockings. All in all, Thanksgiving day was great.

Here is everyone at the Elmo Town Hall
Jess just enjoying all the company

Tyce worked SO hard on his little Christmas mug
The next day after shopping all night, we all went up my Mary's Lake to cut down our Christmas tree. Along the way the kids played in the snow and were pulled behind the truck with the sled. They all had SO much fun.

Tyce decided to start a snowball fight, but the snow didn't stick
After driving around for quite sometime, Kyle spotted this bush...I mean beauty :)
As soon as we got back from our Christmas Tree hunt, Grandma Jo had dinner and gingerbread houses to make. The kids thought that they were great!!
Kade working hard
Tyce was pretty proud
Finally on Saturday morning we woke up and decorated our tree. It turned out really great. My kids would not get dressed....they hung out in their roo's all day.
The final product!

Now we can look forward to Tyce's birthday and Christmas

The Cow Business

It was such a great day on Saturday when everyone showed up to help us move cows from Redd's Canyon to the Fullers Bottom Trough. The weather was perfect for the little ride and we all had so much fun riding the horses and eating our hot dogs. This is the life!!!

Here are the riders

I stayed behind to watch over this little cutie! We were the drivers.
