So Kyle works literally ALL of the time. It seems like we never get to see him. Its not just every day, it's every day at least 12 hours a day. Not knowing that he would be working all of the time, we both bought elk tags. Rifle for me (which ends on Thursday) and muzzle loader for Kyle (which starts in Nov). Right when Kyle finally had a few days off, me and the kids got a 24 hour flu bug. I have never been that sick (I lost 7 lbs in 24 hours). Thank goodness the flu only lasted 24 hours because I needed to get out and hunt. We went up East Mountain, but ended up never seeing any elk. Hopefully Kyle can score another day off so that we can go hunting again before Thursday.

Yep, but you just gain it all back the next day with cookies and milk for breakfast!
Ick! We have been sick here too. Not your brand, ours is lasting much longer, but isn't as severe. Good luck finding a good elk! Even though your hunting partners might not be the best scouts, they are surely the best looking!
Ohh man. Doesn't it seem like when you have something planned and actually have time to do something that something always goes wrong? Well it looks like you guys had a good time. You boys are so adorable and so big!
Bummer about the bug...Crazy to loose 7 lbs in 1 day...yikes!!! I love your little hunting partners...so cute! Hope you guys get a big one!
