Thanksgiving Weekend

I just love a good tradition....and having Thanksgiving dinner with all of the Hansen's is one of my favorites. This year, because we are getting to be quite the large family, we had the dinner at the Elmo town hall. We had a yummy dinner and then while the boys went out to grandpa's farm to shoot skeet, us girls played games and the kids decorated Christmas mugs. It was a day full of laughs and good conversation. That night after the Hansen's, we went over to Ferron to Kyle's mom and dad's to make our Christmas Stockings. All in all, Thanksgiving day was great.

Here is everyone at the Elmo Town Hall
Jess just enjoying all the company

Tyce worked SO hard on his little Christmas mug
The next day after shopping all night, we all went up my Mary's Lake to cut down our Christmas tree. Along the way the kids played in the snow and were pulled behind the truck with the sled. They all had SO much fun.

Tyce decided to start a snowball fight, but the snow didn't stick
After driving around for quite sometime, Kyle spotted this bush...I mean beauty :)
As soon as we got back from our Christmas Tree hunt, Grandma Jo had dinner and gingerbread houses to make. The kids thought that they were great!!
Kade working hard
Tyce was pretty proud
Finally on Saturday morning we woke up and decorated our tree. It turned out really great. My kids would not get dressed....they hung out in their roo's all day.
The final product!

Now we can look forward to Tyce's birthday and Christmas

It looks beautiful! I am so jealous. Mine looks like a 6 year old a 3 year old and an 18 month old decorated it. Which they did, over and over and over :)

I agree that family traditions are the best! Curtis's family is on the verge of having Thanksgiving dinner somewhere larger as well. Your family is so cute and you look awesome Jana! I love your tree and am impressed that you got it in your house!
