You know your a farmer when.......

......you have to plan a your vacation around the purchase of farm equipment. For the past few days we have been making our way to Idaho to purchase a baler. Along the way, I thought that it would be fun to make a little vacation of it.

Our first stop was Hollywood Connections. The kids loved the bumper cars the most they could have rode them the entire time.

Jess just spent most of the trip in the stroller. He was such a good baby the entire time. The Bumper Cars

As we continued on our journey, we HAD to make a stop at the Cheesecake Factory (YUM) and the Hill AFB Aerospace museum. Tyce LOVES airplanes so he was pretty much in heaven.

Chucky Cheese was a must for lunch (this was our first Chucky Cheese experience)

and then we headed to Tremonton where we stayed and again swam in the motel. Its funny how swimming in the motel is sometimes that most fun part of a trip.

We finally made it to BFE Idaho and purchased this John Deer Baler. It took 3 1/2 hours to load it on the trailer, but I think it will be worth it.

I love the farm life, sometimes it gives you an excuse to drive all the way to a different state to buy a really expensive piece of equipment that probably won't work when we go to bale hay next spring :)!
