Checking on the calves...

Tuesday after school, Kyle and I decided to go out on the horses to check on a calf that was born that morning. It was so cold that we were completely frozen by the time we got back to the truck. It was fun to get away on the horses without our kids.
Our calf was doing great. Isn't she cute!!
(I look awful in the picture, but I was really cold)

You are such a rancher! I am so proud of you for bundling up and getting out there. It looks freezing! I have to agree that it's hard to find something better than going on a ride with your hubby without the kids.

That calf is so cute and I am glad that it is doing well. How wonderful to be up on the beautiful mountain with your hubby and no crying children! I am very jealous.
