Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was GREAT like always.  We had dinner in Elmo and for the first time ever, we had to rent a place to eat.  We rented out the town hall and each and everyone of the Hansen's were there.  All 60 of us.  Here are a few pictures of my boys before dinner:

Eating our dinner

My fav cousins!

Like every year, we headed to Grandpa Hansen's farm to shoot clay pigieons.
 Tyce and uncle Hans

We always go and cut our Christmas tree on the Friday after thanksgiving.  We drove up the canyon looking for the perfect tree and there it was way up the mountain.  Kyle told me I had to hike up and make sure it was great before we went with the chain saw.  Well when Kade and I got there, we new it would look perfect in our front room.

 Even though it was HUGE!

 It turned out perfect!

Tyce's 5th Birthday

5 years old...it is still hard for me to imagine.  Time has flown by so quickly that I find it hard to keep up.  We celebrated his birthday over in Price at the Wave Pool and it was so much fun.  Of course it had to be a superhero party, like always.

Tyce has wanted a dog for a long time, so we finally decided to get him one.  He named her Ruby, and we absolutely loves her!

Life with the BOYS!

The kids had their horse show banquet and looked adorable in their cowboy get up! I love my little buckaroo's!
Each year my kids ride their horses in a little play day, and at the end of the summer they have dinner and awards.  Here are a few pictures of my kids with the loot they brought home!  They were pretty happy kids!

I also have a pretty happy husband because of these babies:  Yep, I finally let him buy some snowmobiles.  He has been on cloud 9.  They ran great and we have had a blast on them so far.

We had to go up pretty high to find some snow but it was worth it.  The kids loved the snowmobiles and they loved sledding behind them.

The best part about having snowmobiles is that you don't have to walk back up the hill after sledding down......dad gives you a ride!

Cowboyin' on the Desert

My favorite event of the year is bringing cows on the desert.  Each year it gets better and better because I get the cutest helpers to come along with with me.  Kade did AWESOME this year.  He road the entire way-from the farm to Fullers Bottom. What a handsome cowboy!

Because we are in a drought, the BLM cut our desert permits in half!!!!  Lets hope we get some good snow this year so that our #s go up!

These cute cowboys had everything under control.  I was able to just sit back and take pictures while they took care of the cowboying!

Chase, Kade, and Kyle

We had to stop and take a break at Phino's Cabin.  Hotdogs of course for lunch!

Tyce rode for a little while, but quickly wanted to get off and ride in the truck with Grandma.  Here he is all smiles!

Poor little Jess was a sick little guy.  He was a trooper though!

This picture has nothing to do with bringing cows on the desert, but I was pretty excited about this event.  This here my friends is the big buck I killed on the rifle hunt.  It was my first kill and can I just say "BUCK FEVER"!  I have never understood it until now.  I was shaking SO hard that my butt cheeks were jiggling!  My first shot took his leg clear off.  My second was right through the lungs.

Best Fishing of the Year!

We took the boys fishing at Milsite and we were thrilled at the nice fish we were reeling in.  They were so much fun to catch.  Here is Tyce with his fish.

Kade has been good to bait, cast, and reel his own pole in.  He was fishing away when he got a huge bite.  Well lets just say, it was a HUGE fish!  He was so excited!

Check out that beauty!  I have NEVER seen a fish that big come out of Milsite.  It was at least 3lbs.  Pretty cool!

You also couldn't beat the view from where we were fishing.  The sunset was gorgeous!
