Easter 2012

Easter is my favorite holiday. I love getting my trailer ready and heading to the desert for good food, baseball, volleyball, 4-wheelers, campfires, and dirt.
Before we headed out to the desert we had to stop by Cheddar Field and Stewarts, the local grocery store, for their annual Easter Eggs hunts. My boys cleaned up at both. Here is Jess at the Cheddar Field Hunt.
Checking out their loot at Cheddar FieldAfter the hunts, we got home and painted our Easter Eggs. Kade took it super serious and needed to make lots of New York Yankee eggs, Tyce lost interest after a few, but the eggs he pained needed to be superhero red. We started out our camping trip with kite flying thanks to Grandma Jo. Flying kites was a cinch in the Emery County wind. We spent a lot of our time just hanging out.The Easter bunny found us again this year and the boys were loving it. They each got a bunch of candy and new baseball bats. The Easter bunny hid their eggs, and we were up bright and early looking for them. Sporting their new hats....and a green lantern mask?Jess was so cute. He loved looking for his eggs and the best part was when he threw them as hard as he could in his bucket. He spent most of the weekend attached to Grandma Jo.....he absolutely LOVES her. Gotta love hanging by the fire!Another tradition we have for Easter is to roll (throw, chuck, squish) our eggs down a hill. The kids think that it is just great. Easter was great! I wished that we didn't have to come home!

Wrestling Allstars!!

Wrestling was so much fun this year. Kade is becoming quite the little athlete. He tore it up this year in wrestling using all the right moves as he pinned all his oponents. Tyce wasn't the biggest fan of wrestling (again), but when he wrestled it was hiliarious. I am so proud of them for working so hard and for kicking butt each and every week. Tyce was on cloud 9 when he recieved his medal. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Baby Lou Lou

Little baby calves are so cute and are so much fun to take care of. Little Lou Lou's mom wanted nothing to do with her so she ended up at our house being bottle fed. Jess LOVES her so much and when we can't find him anywhere, he is usually inside of her pen laying with her. Jess thinks that his dad is pretty much the coolest person on earth, so he loves to do whatever Kyle is doing.....especially if it is driving in the tractor. A month ago, Kyle and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. We decided to go to Vegas to get out of the cold and to enjoy the sites. Well, it was freezing and overcast the entire time, but we did enjoy the sites. We also had a really great time seeing the "O" at the Bellagio.....it is definitely a must see.

Go Jazz Go

We headed to the BIG city this weekend for a much needed family getaway. On our adventure we enjoyed Boondocks, The Living Planet Aquarium, swimming in our "mootel", and most of all the Jazz game. It was the boys' first time going to a Jazz game and they really enjoyed it. I am sure that the gentleman in front of us also enjoyed the game, especially the part where Kade dumped his dippin' dots all over the mans white autographed jersey. Other that that little mishap, the game was great and I was glad we went.

Boys Boys Boys!!!

Little Jess sure keeps me busy. He has the cutest little smile and his big teeth crack me up. He can say anything and thinks he is pretty tough with his bright orange cast on. He loves his brothers so much and can wrestle them right to the ground.
Kade is in the final stretch of kindergarten and is doing very well. He is a fantastic reader and he rocks at math. He loves school so much and thinks that homework is the greatest thing ever. Last week Kade entered an art contest at school and won with his 3D rock necklace. He was so excited and was so cute out their winning his award. I was so proud of him. Here he is posing in front of the school with is awards.
Tyce is in preschool and is such a smarty pants. He can tell you all of the letters and their sounds and boy can he count. Tyce wears a cape or full out superhero costume everyday and has for the past few years. I keep thinking that he will grow out of this stage, but part of me hopes he never does. Here is Tyce at the desert the other day. He thought he was the coolest thing ever up on that rock with is cape blowing in the wind. Wrestling practice started the other day and right before practice, Kade decided to run around like a crazy person down the halls of the high school. Well lets just say that one of the walls jumped out and smacked him in the face. He had a black eye and bruised cheek for the whole week. Its pretty bad that we went to wrestling and got hurt in the hallway before it even started. If you all remember right, this isn't the first time Kade has ran smack into a wall.....remember the stitches he had down his forehead from running into the wall at church....I think he better start paying attention.
These boys are defiantly giving me a run for my money. I didn't have any brothers so these boys are throwing me for a loop. Every day I wonder if I am going to have to make a trip to the ER. Every day I walk into their bathroom and think "REALLY it's THAT hard to aim." Everyday I think my grocery bill is HOW MUCH? And everyday I thank my heavenly father for making me the happiest mom in the world!

It's Broken?

I don't know what is is about my kids, but I swear we spend WAY too much time at the Dr. office. The event that caused our Dr. visit this time involved Jess and the ladder to the bunk beds. Lets just say he didn't quite make it to the top....instead he fell off braking his arm on the way down. He is so cute about it though. He keeps telling everyone...."broke it". So he officially broke his arm on his 18th month birthday. What a cute boy with is bright blue cast!
I just had to post this picture of him...the other day he got into some chocolate and went to town. I guess he was going to use the sponge to clean himself up.

Kade just finished his first year of Jr. Jazz and he kicked butt. He was quite the scrappy little player! He did a really great job and I was so proud of him.

Chase, Kade, and Joey

With all of this nice weather we have had, we couldn't resist playing out on the desert after school. Here are Kade and Chase:

Jess is super tough!

Gotta love boys!
